I heart Vienna I.

They say the best ideas will come to your mind during a glass of wine... well, in this particular case it was a cosmopolitan and there were two minds involved. Out of nowhere - or maybe the pink delicacy - my best friend and I decited to take a short trip to Vienna. We had both been there before, what made us wanna go even more... No sooner said than done, we booked an apartment via Airbnb, loaded our trunk and headed south. Within 4 hours we checked into our breathtaking apartment at "Landhausgasse" in the very center of Vienna.

Austrias capital is hands down one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to. We were quickly reminded of that as we realized the "Hofburg" was just down the street. Nothing leaves me as speachless as the presence of old castles and beautiful architecture.

If you share even bits of this passion, anlongside hearty food and more than courteous locals you should definitely make the effort to visit Vienna.

After unpacking, we didn't loose any time and went straigt to Demel's for a late breakfast. Demel is the most established confectioner in Vienna. It's history goes way back to the 18th century.

With the Hofburg in sight, we enjoyed our scrambled eggs, fresh pastry and traditional "Marille" marmaldade.

The pleasant mix of harmless clouds and sun made day I. perfect for exploring the city. We visited old friends, covered all must sees and made reservations for the following days.

Due to the occasion my camera didn't stand still. For more picturses about travels, fashion, lifestyle and especially snapshots follow me on Instagram. xo.xo.mya

I don't know about you, but I think the traffic lights - so far only in Vienna - are adorable.

Exhausted as I was after running around all day long, I finally fell into my comfy bed.

To find out what we were up to on day II. and III., stay tuned. I promise there  will be more fashion involved. I'll keep you posted...
