I'm not sure why, but I've never been a huge 'highwaist' fan. Nothing would ever fit and I always felt more swallowed by a piece of fabric than beneficialy dressed. However, not too long ago I found these grey pants at COS and fell in love with the design. Maybe just because It's not something I would usually wear. Paired with a simple, cognac coloured cropped top and of course those obligatory extra few inch on my feet, I felt ready for a sunny sunday stroll.

Golden Fall

November, you're doin' me proud mister! Clear blue skies, sunny 20' C and since weeks nothing but gilded leaves in sight. After the past busy weeks at work Sundays like this are exactly what I needed. Unlike any other day off I got up early, had an ample brakfast, put my girlie girl dress on and headed out the door. Except for a quick stop at Starbucks - I craved a cliché redcup Toffee Nut Latte - I spent the whole day outside. All soaked with vitamin D, I had some shots taken to share outfit credits with you. If you by any chance love Indie Fashion just as much as I do, you're gonna have to visit Indiska.com. Pssst... For all the interior design lovers: they have home decor too!

Indiska is one of these swedish cute stores you can't help but spend hours in, even if you weren't really looking for anything. As their name might have let you guess, their style is all about oriental Indie fashion. This onepiece I found this last summer was on sale and fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Luckily the last one hangig fit. For this look I paired it with some Zara heels and a vintage clutch.

Summer in Sweden

No less precious than the time we spend on our vacations are the memories and pictures we get to keep. I'm super excited to share some of mine with you. Like every summer, I visit my family and friends in Sweden. It's where I grew up and remember spending the best childhood ever. Different from the past years though, this time I  got there by car. The 12 hour car ride was a pain in the ass, YES, but therefor I got to load the trunk with my beloved "Hushallsost", "Godis", "Bullar" and so much more. Follow me around on my first day back in my hometown Boras.

After realising this was going to be my stay for the next days, I was in good spirits for this vacation. In Sweden we call these cute signiture red cottages "Stuga". This particular one we rented via Airbnb. It's in the middle of the forest in Herrljunga, 30 minutes outside of Boras. Up to five people can stay here and enjoy everything from the beautiful, thoughtfully arranged interior details, the grill and garden, to the wild berries in the forest surrounding the stuga. To get the full impression of the the northern lights, unpolluted air and relaxing calm you will have to go and visit your self.
But this might give you and idea...

My outfit on the first day was classic and simple with a touch of 50ies. I paired light blue jeans with a polkadott blouse I had just bought at KappAhl. The blouse was pining for a red bold lip, so I went with MACs Ruby Woo. To keep it casual I chose my Fred Perrys in grey. The shades I'm waring were a bargain. I found them on Sale at Indiska.

My hair updo took me two minutes, tops. I twirled my sides to the back and made a low, messy bun on the left side. To create more volume, I tore single strands apart and pinned them with bobby pins.
